Preserving Together

B&F ENTRE BOURBONNAIS ET FOREZ safeguards the unique historical identity of our region by restoring architectural landmarks and preserving the natural landscapes that define our shared heritage. Through the rigorous documentation of local dialects and the publication of historical archives, we provide the public with vital educational resources that bridge the gap between past traditions and modern civic life. Our initiatives foster community pride and support sustainable cultural tourism, ensuring that the tangible and intangible memories of our history remain accessible for future generations to study, appreciate, and carry forward as a foundation for a resilient local culture.

Who We Are

Our Heritage Community

Community involvement lies at the heart of everything we do. We believe that heritage preservation is most effective when it is shared, participatory, and rooted in local pride. Our initiatives are designed to bring people together—residents, researchers, students, and visitors alike—through educational programs, cultural events, and collaborative projects. These efforts not only strengthen connections within the community but also encourage a sense of ownership and responsibility toward preserving local history. In doing so, we create opportunities for dialogue between generations, ensuring that knowledge and traditions continue to evolve while remaining grounded in their origins. At the same time, our work contributes to the development of sustainable cultural tourism that respects both the integrity of heritage sites and the needs of local communities. By promoting responsible engagement with historical and natural spaces, we help generate economic opportunities while maintaining the authenticity that makes our region unique. Visitors are invited not simply to observe, but to understand and appreciate the depth of history embedded in the landscape. This approach ensures that tourism becomes a tool for preservation rather than a threat to it.
